Thank you for stating the much needed facts that aren't bipartisan and not deemed as propaganda. I completely agree with you and know that the trickle down effect is evident. Thank you for stating what we all know in MI but the rest of the country does not know.
I agree that the CEOs should not have shown up via private jet. That was just bad PR. But at the same time, people even in the state of MI do not seem to understand the importance of the auto industry if they are NOT a supplier or work for the Big 3. They just seem to think that the UAW is something that is outdated and useless. That they are paying too much for labor, etc.

Tee,
You are the Queen of Execution and the tea you did for me was over the top: wonderful theme decorations with matching china and accents. The food was great, too.

As for the poll questions, for me the most challenging faux pas is bringing an uninvited guest. This upsets the seating, portions, service items, etc. and anything that has been prepared for a specific number.

May you have a tea-riffic holiday event season. Merry, Merry!

I checked several options on this survey, but think that the biggest faux pas is not asking the host what you can bring. It is the host's option to say "nothing," but at least in my family, asking what you can bring is always the first question after you say, "yes, I'd love to be there!"

And, even when the host says "nothing," it is appropriate to bring a small host/hostess gift, or to send one after the event with a Thank You note.

Ms. Thompson, YOU are tea-riffic!

The worst thing I thing that someone can do is to be so inconsiderate as to RSVP late. It throws your timeline off and can have you backtracking to accomodate the changes.
